About: Doug Higley got his first taste of Magic from a TV Magic set at age 12. His first 'professional' gig was in N.Y. in 1964 (or was it 65?) A succesion of appearances as an Illusionist, Mentalist & Escape Artist, (Night Clubs, Private Functions etc) ended in December of 1968 as Higley moved on into Radio and TV Broadcasting. Years later, in the 90's Higley began creating effects and props and writing routines for other world famous magicians and performers as well as building & curating a 5,000 sq ft Museum Of Wonders at Lake Tahoe...BUT the performance bug took out another bite when Higley was Guest Of Honor at a Northern California 'ODD GATHERING' of Bizarrist Magicians in 2010....and subsequently, 'The Last Tour In A Dark Museum' is born.

Deep in the basement of the 3rd Avenue Museum resides many objects and Secrets of Wonder and Mystery!

'The Last Tour In A Dark Museum' by Doug Higley, is a combination of all ORIGINAL material and Original Magic and Mental effects with Hand Painted Backdrops as well as Improv and Audience participation. Designed for a Parlour or Small Stage presentation.

Show includes the FULL Show Performance with Hand Painted Back Drops, Original Props and Authentic Museum Exhibits for the setting. There is NOTHING else like it!

After each performance you will be invited to view a specially selected small collection from the Museum. This may include Auhentic Amazonian Tribal Relics, Ancient Artifacts and Paleontological exhibits
including the rare skull of a Giant Prehistoric Terror Bird! Plus other things you've never seen before! Yes, even including the Deadly Piranhas!
